29 things you should know about U.S. colleges and universities


One can never learn enough about U.S. higher education before he/she arrives on campus. When studying abroad in the USA, every single detail you encounter makes up the experience of your journey.    Being Ignorant is not anything you want to be, but being knowledgeable is certainly an asset.

A recent post published by “Studyinternational.com” has listed “7 things you need to know about colleges and universities in the USA.”   We wonder “Why only 7 things?”

We think the list is far too short to be sufficient.  Below we extended the short list of Studyinternational.com’s to the “29 things you need to know about U.S. colleges and universities.”

    Another interesting and helpful post. Thank you. I did not know that Marijuana is popular on US college campuses. Maybe I can try it when I study there.

    Yes. If you live in a dorm off campus, you will see more Marijuana. In fact, in several U.S. states, Marijuana has been legalized. However, most U.S. schools still don’t allow Marijuana on campus.
